Turn your trash into cash! Begining in 2009, you can now use Project Clean Stream to raise money for your local non-profit watershed group. With the attached form, you can turn your Project Clean Stream event into a "clean-a-thon," inviting your friends and neighbors to sponsor your clean-up efforts. For instance, someone could pledge to donate ten cents per pound of trash cleaned up at your site, or they can simply donate $10 to your efforts.

This fundraiser will help the Alliance and local groups sustain our clean-up coordination and other restoration efforts, reaching more streams and connecting with more volunteers. Interested businesses can also sign on as Project Clean Stream lead sponsors. Your support helps us provide the necessary supplies for our clean-up as well as coordinate all of the details that go into this event, from finding volunteers to holding Site Captain meetings to tracking clean-up results.
